The 1400 series eventually became the World Music domain for classical Indian music releases as evidenced in this group of releases that also include a few Japanese Koto albums. Dick Bock continued the mono and stereo versions with the exception of the last release in this group, WPS-21446, that was released as a stereo pressing only.

WP/WPS 2- 1426/1436

© James A. Harrod, COPYRIGHT PROTECTED; ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

The 1400 series eventually became the World Music domain for classical Indian music releases. Early releases included comedy and a mixed bag of music styles including Brazilian, Latin, Poetry & Jazz, Vocal, and Pop. Many of these early releases were recycled from other release series. Many of the stereo releases were mono recordings that were remastered to simulate stereo.
